James Whelan is a principle engineer who specializes in vehicle accident reconstruction, mechanical systems analysis, intellectual property, plumbing systems, and heating ventilation air-conditioning (HVAC) systems failure analysis. He is also a United States patent agent and reviews patents and subject products, analyzes the design or performance of the product within the scope of its associated claims, and creates visual aids to demonstrate the conclusions. He has provided expert testimony in numerous legal jurisdictions. He has worked on projects in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
